Packaging :

The Ordinary ‘Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5’ comes in quite an “ordinary” packaging. They have kept their word and have stripped back all unnecessary packaging. I got the product in a normal cardboard box. The bottle is made up of glass and is quite sturdy. They provide you with a dropper for ease of application. To sum up, they provide a simple and good packaging.

My Thoughts :

Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance which is produced by our body , which helps in retaining water , therefore bringing moisture to the skin and hence keeping it hydrated and plumped. It is light weighted , slippery in texture , transparent and no fragrance whatsoever. This HA serum gave my skin all the hydration it needed. It made my skin plump and radiant . It’s always advisable to use HA in presence of water (read the above link if you haven’t already) and always lock the moisture that it brings with a moisturizer. After applying the serum , I could visibly notice the difference in the first go where my skin looked and felt more hydrated.

I applied a toner or a mist after cleansing my face . 2-4 drops of the HA serum is only needed to cover up your whole face and neck and then seal it with moisturizer. You can pair Hyaluronic acid with Vitamin C / AHA/ BHA / Retinols.
