DOT and KEY is a new Indian Skincare brand which caters various range of the products.
“Behind our revolutionary products is an obsession with little things. We believe the most overlooked parts of the body deserve as much attention as the face. By focusing on them, by searching for underlying causes and lasting solutions, we bring you the key to unlocking the secrets of flawlessly healthy skin & hair. “
Dot & Key launched their new serums. They sent me two of their serums. I will be reviewing the GLOW REVEALING VITAMIN C SERUM CONCENTRATE.

Packaging :
Dot and Key has always been on the top of the game when it comes to packaging. It comes in a outer Yellow box ( colour coordinated ) . Inside as you open it , one side you have the description of the product , the other side you have the serum in a plastic packaging. It comes in a yellow bottle and a dropper.

My thoughts :
1. Pump 3-4 drops of the face serum onto your palm.
2. Apply in dots all over the face.
3. Massage in upward circular motion until completely absorbed.
4. For best results, use in the morning and evening, followed by a sunscreen.

As one grows , one should start incorporating Vitamin C in their skincare routine. Vitamin C or Ascorbic Acid , is a antioxidant which help to fight the free radicals and the damaged that is caused by harmful sun rays. Therefore, it also helps in fights signs of ageing and clear pigmented skin, giving a natural glow to your skin. The process usually takes up more time and one may not see results immediately but it’s good for the skin in long run.

Dot and Key’s Vitamin C concentrate is really very weightless , gets absorbed into the skin very quickly and gives a matte finish. It has a runny consistency and clear. I require 3-4 drops to cover my entire face and neck. You obviously need to wear a cream over it and a sunscreen (when used in day) . I have been using this for a month now ( for every morning ) , I haven’t seen any such drastic glowing, radiant skin or any brightening effect. But my face isn’t that dull even. It didn’t cause any breakout. If you are looking to reduce pigmentation with this, you have to wait for 2-3 months.

It has also got a good strong smell to it . Extremely sensitive skin or people who can’t stand very strong smell might seem to have a problem with this.
Would I recommend it ?
People without sensitive skin can give this a try, though this takes a lot of time . It’s a okay-ish serum , not a must have. I feel there are better Vitamin C serums in the market.
MY RATING : 3.5/5
Summary :
Pros :

- Free of Nasty Chemicals
- Didn’t cause any breakout
- Brightens the complexion over time .
- Rich in Antioxidants
Cons :
- pH & Percentage of Vitamin C is not mentioned.
- Very Slow action.
- Strong smell.

Hey , I haven’t come across a product with both of them. You can try Vaunt SkinCare Vitamin C water and pair it up with Be Minimalist Hyaluronic acid serum. 🙂
